🔮 FUTURE_STACK: SYF.OS v3.0 Blueprint (Late 2026)
🏗 Core Architecture: AI-Native & Local-First
By late 2026, the distinction between "Frontend" and "Backend" has blurred into Product Engineering. SYF.OS must evolve from a passive file dump into an Active Cognitive Environment.
1. Framework Evolution
- > React 20: Leverage the React Compiler for zero-manual-memoization performance. Utilize Action-First Data Flow where every interaction is an atomic, optimistic transformation.
- > Next.js 18: Transition to Partial Prerendering (PPR) as the default. The "Shell" is static (instant load), while "Holes" (like the Oracle/Vex stream) are streamed via Edge Functions.
2. High-Fidelity Rendering (WebGPU Supremacy)
- > Production WebGPU: Move beyond simple background shaders. Implement Compute-Shader UI:
- > Real-time physics-based layout (elements that "float" or "repel" based on cursor gravity).
- > Ray-traced glassmorphism and CRT distortion without CPU overhead.
- > Browser-based AI inference (running local models for VEX translation).
3. Generative UI & Ambient Intelligence
- > Confidence Visualization: Micro-animations in the
RecallHUDthat reflect the AI's "Depth of Memory" or "Certainty of Connection." - > Streaming Components: UI that is generated on-the-fly based on the complexity of the Markdown content being viewed (e.g., automatic 3D graph view for highly linked notes).
4. Persistence: The "Living Archive"
- > Edge-Sync Memory: Multi-instance synchronization via localized PGLite/Replicache.
- > Vex Resonance v2: Biometric-environmental awareness expanded to include user attention metrics (via Ghost OS/Eye-tracking if available).
📜 Ethical Directive: Post-AGI Integrity
The UI must never "hallucinate" functionality. Every pixel must be a representative of a real system state or a verified cognitive snapshot.
